Book Review: Miss Wayne and the Queens of DC

Warning: This series completely destroyed my November/December TBR List!๐Ÿ˜‚

Book 3 of the Black and Ugly Series is about the hilarious breakout Miss Wayne.

After a trip to DC, Miss Wayne decides to hang around for a while and find out what exactly is going on with Aiden, Tyrone and Dayshawn. They each have secrets that are bound to come out, and when they do…all hell breaks loose.

In this book, @authortstyles addresses social issues such as murder, rape, and abuse within the gay community in the nationโ€™s capitol. These heinous crimes are all fueled by hate, and to make matters worse, there is a serial killer who is targeting these drag queens. To lighten the air, if you will, the book is peppered with much needed humor. I laughed until I cried at some of those scenes.

I really enjoyed this book, as well as this series. Unfortunately, I cannot give it the ๐Ÿ’Ž๐Ÿ’Ž๐Ÿ’Ž๐Ÿ’Ž๐Ÿ’Ž that it deserves, due to MINOR errors. I highly recommend this book to the open-minded reader. You will definitely walk away with a newfound respect for humanity.
