That’s Not How It Was In The Book

We have seen an influx of movie adaptations of books, more than ever before. Almost every time, you have heard these words mentioned, “That’s not how it was in the book.” Yet, we still continue to support, because we have hopes of the next project being better.

I recently had a conversation with a screenwriter, who informed me that the main reason is this…with limited funds and time, each page equates one minute of screen time. It helped to empathize just a little more, after that.

I, will continue to read the book BEFORE I see the movie, television or series adaptation.
